Mr. Talai Minai, Hello, please share your experiences of traveling to Italy and visiting the gold and jewelry exhibitions of this country.

Hello, during several trips to Italy, I have participated in the most important world fairs, including Vicenza and Arezzo. These exhibitions provide unique opportunities to learn about the latest technologies and designs of the world.

When is the Vicenza exhibition held and what are its features?

The Vicenza exhibition is held twice, one in September and the other in January. Also, the Arezzo exhibition is held in May. The Vicenza show in January is known as the most complete jewelry show after Las Vegas, USA and Hong Kong, where gold, jewelry and related machinery are presented. These exhibitions are not only a place to display new products, but also provide an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences between manufacturers and exporters from all over the world.

How was the condition of this year’s exhibition?

In this year’s exhibition, which was held in September, the condition of the exhibition was generally half complete; So that the number of machines was reduced compared to previous years, but the variety of jewelry was very wide. This exhibition was held with the presence of representatives from around 87 countries, including European, American, Asian, Japan, China and Turkey. There were also a number of unofficial participants from Iran. The level of work was very high and the world’s latest products were displayed. Also, two new halls were added to the exhibition, which were dedicated to East Asia and India. This variety and extent shows the importance and special position of the industry of these countries, especially India, in the global gold and jewelry industry.

What is the direction of the gold and jewelry market in the world?

The trend of the gold and jewelry market in the world is moving towards delicate designs and more use of jewels and precious stones. The tendency to use heavy gold has decreased. Due to the increase in prices, there is a possibility of stagnation in the market, but it is expected that people will gradually get used to the real price of gold and the market will become more prosperous. Also, the use of new technologies in the design and production of jewelry plays an important role in attracting new customers and maintaining existing markets.

What is the status of the jewelry market in Iran?

In Iran, due to the current prices, there is a slight stagnation. But with positive forecasts and the entry of fine products into the market, we hope that Iran’s gold and jewelry industry will prosper. The gold industry in Iran is growing independently, and modern machines are imported to Iran from industrialized countries such as Germany and Italy. In the near future, Iran will be able to either reverse engineer the machines or produce them itself. This can help reduce production costs and increase the quality of domestic products.

What is your vision for the future of the gold industry in Iran?

We hope that the gold industry will become an independent and prosperous industry in the coming years. Considering the potential in the country and government support, we can see the significant growth of this industry. Also, the training of specialized workforce and the use of advanced technologies will play an important role in the development and progress of this industry. We hope that with joint efforts, Iran will become one of the main centers of production and export of gold and jewelry in the world.
